Recipes For Healthy Mango Smoothies

Mangoes are a good part of an overall healthy diet because they are packed with nutrients and have many different types of polyphenols, including mangiferin, which is especially powerful. Polyphenols function as antioxidants inside your body. Mango is delicious and can be enjoyed in many ways. One of the best ways to add mango into your diet is making smoothies. Mango goes with almost any type of fruits since they can intensify the flavor of other tropical fruits. Try passion, pineapple or papaya. One thing you should keep in mind is that they contain more sugar than many other fruits, so it is better to limit consuming mango to under two cups (330g) per day.

01. Mango green smoothie
Ingredients:
- 3.5 cups of lite coconut milk
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 banana frozen
- 4 cups mango chunks frozen
- 1 cup baby spinach leaves
- 4 Tbsp of honey (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions: (Instead of coconut milk you can use almond milk or oat milk). Add all the smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
02. Mango Passion smoothie
Ingredients :
- 1 passion fruit puree
- One ripe mango
- 1 ½ cups of Ice cubes
- 1 cup of water
Instructions : Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain and serve fresh.
03. Mango Banana smoothie
Ingredients :
- 1 cup of Nonfat milk
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 ½ cups of Ice cubes
- 1 banana sliced
- 1 ripe Mango (a cup of mango chunks)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp of honey
- Chia seeds (optional)
Instructions : Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, serve with chia seeds on top.
04. Mango Papaya and Lime smoothie
Ingredients :
- 1 ripe mango cut into chunks
- 1 cup of papaya chunks
- ½ tbsp of lime juice
- 1 tbsp of honey (optional)
Instructions: Add all the smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
05. Mango Strawberry smoothie
ingredients :
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup peeled, pitted, and chopped mango
- 6 ounces plain Greek yogurt
- 6-8 ice cubes
Instructions : Place strawberries, mango, and yogurt in a blender. Blend on high for 30 seconds. Add in the ice cubes and blend until smooth. Pour smoothie into glasses and serve.
06. Mango Carrot and Strawberry smoothie
Ingredients :
- 4 cups frozen sliced strawberries
- 3 cups frozen mango pieces
- 1 cup chopped carrots or baby carrots
- 3 cups of unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
- 2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice or 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (if using orange juice, reduce the amount of almond milk to 1 ¼ cups)
Instructions : Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy! (If you like you can put banana or plain yogurt into your smoothie.)
07. Raw Mango and lemon smoothie
- 2 Green Mangoes cut into chunks
- 1 cup crushed Ice
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp of lemon juice
Instructions : Boil the mangoes for 10 min till it's cooked well with 2 cups of water and then let it cool and chill. Next, blend the raw mangoes with all the ingredients, place ice at the bottom of the blender and then place other ingredients on it. Instead of ice you can use 2 cups of water as well. Then blend it into a fine smoothie.
