Cucumber & Orange smoothie

Orange is one of the most popular fruits around the world. It is cheap, tasty and nutritious. Oranges are a good source of vitamin C, folate, antioxidants and minerals which boost the immune system, good for a better skin, and they may reduce the risk of heart disease and getting kidney stones. A whole orange contains only about 60 calories and has no fat, cholesterol or sodium. It can be consumed as a snack, as a mixed fruit salad or as a juice.
Cucumber is also high in beneficial nutrients, antioxidants and minerals. Another beneficial factor of cucumber to our health is that they are low in calories and contain more water and soluble fiber. All of these make cucumber an excellent food to incorporate into our daily diet.
Cucumber can be consumed as a salad, as a curry or as smoothie. Both cucumber and oranges are good at detoxing. To improve the taste of the cucumber smoothie and to improve its nutrition quality further, we can add orange juice into it. I am going to give you the recipe for making a smoothie made with cucumber and orange. The quantities of ingredients I mentioned below are enough for one person, if you want to make more you can adjust the recipe as you need.
Ingredients :

½ cup cucumber (peeled and sliced)

1 orange

1 green tea bag

2 mint leaves (optional)
Method :
Dip the green tea bag into a half a cup of hot water. Let it cool down to room temperature. Add the cucumber, orange and green tea extract into a blender and blend them well. Pour into a glass and garnish with mint leaves if you like.
