Ambarella Chutney

Amberella (Spondias dulcis)is a tropical tree with edible fruits. The plant is native to South and Southeast Asia. It is widely cultivated in Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, and some parts of Africa. Amberella helps treat cough, prevents premature aging, improves vision, improves skin health, boosts Immune System, controlling cholesterol levels, overcoming anemia, increases endurance, helps in weight Loss, helps treat digestive problems. Ambarella fruit can be eaten itself as a fruit or can be cooked as a curry or chutney or can be consumed as a drink. Here I give you the recipe for making Ambarella chutney.
Ingredients :

6 Ambarella fruits

1 cup of water

1 tablespoon of Sugar

Salt as per your taste

4 -5 Cardamom seeds

Mustard seeds (optional)

1 clove
-
½ cup of Vinegar
-
Lime juice (one lime fruit)

Chili pieces
Method:
First wash the Ambarella fruits well, then peel them out and cut them into pieces.
Put water into a saucepan and heat it until water boils, then add the cut Amarella pieces into it and keep boiling for 5 minutes, then drain the water and take out the boiled Ambarella pieces.
Keep a pot in the stove and then put sugar, salt, Cardamom seeds, mustard seeds, clove, vinegar and lime juice into it and heat it while mixing it until sugar dissolves well. Add the boiled Ambarella pieces into that mixture and keep stirring it. Finally add the chili pieces and take out the pot from the stove. After about 3 minutes put the Ambarella mixture into a sterilized mason jar and seal the lid. You can enjoy your Ambarella chutney now.
