Homemade ginger beer (non alcoholic)

Ingredients
- Two lemons or two limes
- Peeled & crushed ginger root
- Carbonated water or 12 glasses of water
- A ½ cup of sugar or bee honey
- Ice cubes
There are two methods of making this beverage.
First method
Put ginger, sugar, and water into a saucepan and let it boil until the sugar is dissolved. During this time you should stir it as well. Let it boil for 10 minutes further in low heat. After that filter it into a jug and let it be cooled. When it’ been cooled add soda and ice cubes. You can add mint leaves or a slice of lemon or lime to garnish it before drink.
Second method
Grate the peeled ginger root well. Take a clean cotton cloth and keep the grated ginger in the cloth and crush it with fingers to get the ginger essence or you can keep the cotton cloth with the grated ginger in a cup of hot water to extract the ginger essence. For one glass of water, one teaspoon of ginger essence is enough. Add one teaspoon of ginger essence into one cup of water or carbonated water and then add lemon juice into it and add one teaspoon of sugar or bee honey. If you like to add ice cubes and mint leaves, then drink.
